Hodson Harding

Hodson is a graduate of Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law. Prior to completing his Juris Doctor, Hodson attended Rice University in Houston, Texas where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology while competing at the highest level as an NCAA Division 1 student athlete. During his legal studies, Hodson assisted low income clients with a wide range of legal matters. He also held a number of positions, most notably as National Chapter Representative for the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada. Hodson was additionally a Lucie and Thornton Blackburn Scholarship recipient.

Hodson summered and articled with a national firm in Calgary prior to joining Kahane Law Office’s Calgary location. He believes that pragmatic and economically sound advice is the key to resolving disputes and litigation successfully.

Hodson employs a results-oriented approach to legal problems in order to obtain the best possible outcome for his client. He assists on an array of litigation files at Kahane Law Office including small claims, residential tenancy, personal injury, employment, estate, and debt collection matters.

Hodson is a Member of the Law Society of Alberta, and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers. Over the years he has spoken at various conferences on diversity and being a minority in the legal industry.

Hodson has a variety of interests. These include traveling to new and interesting countries, coaching young athletes, and watching mystery films. His dedication to others is apparent in everything he does.
