Prior Education
Prior to attending Law School, Ivana completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Education at St. Mary’s University in Calgary, Alberta. She was employed as a teacher for the Calgary Board of Education before attending Law School and continued teaching part-time while attending school.
Ivana’s experience as a teacher offers a unique perspective and approach for families with children. She welcomes the opportunity to help people through their stressful, life changing situations, and strives to keep the best interests of their children, if any, in mind. It is her view that parents often get so caught up in the conflict between themselves, that they get distracted from what is truly important.
Ivana works with her clients to create a plan that will address their unique situation, ensuring to set clear expectations and keeping them apprised of timelines along the way. By listening to your concerns and explaining all options and next steps, her goal is to put you at ease during what is likely to be a very difficult time in your life. Ivana is passionate about advocating for her clients and having them come to a solution that works best for their family.
Life Outside Of Family Law
Outside of the office, Ivana enjoys traveling, good coffee, and spending time with her family and friends. Traveling to Croatia and Greece have been some of her most recent travel destinations abroad, and she looks forward to being able to travel again soon.
