Robert Erickson
Robert Erickson began his academic studies earning a BA in economics with distinction from the University of Calgary. While studying at U of C, Mr. Erickson took advantage of the exchange program and studied for one year at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. He completed the SILS (School of International Liberal Studies) program, at Waseda University, which primarily included the study of the Japanese language. During his studies at U of C, Mr. Erickson received awards for his academic achievements including multiple bursaries and the Jason Lang Academic Scholarship.
Following his graduation from U of C, Mr. Erickson moved to England where he accepted a partial scholarship at Newcastle University to participate in the Law Program (LLB Honours). He graduated in 2015. He then spent some time traveling Europe and returned to Canada to complete his NCA requirements so he could practice law in Canada.
Upon his return to Canada, Mr. Erickson enrolled in the LPP (Law Practice Program) at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. He articled at Andriessen and Associates Business Lawyers in Toronto and was called to the Bar in Ontario, June 2017. To further add to his credentials Robert completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) in early 2018.
Since Mr. Erickson’s call to the bar, he has become specialized in the area of employment law, which is the primary focus of his practice. Furthermore, Mr. Erickson appreciates the importance of effective negotiation/mediation and has successfully resolved many files expeditiously while achieving optimum results for his clients.
