Either: if either spouse has lived in the home since their marriage,then dower right apply. Both people do not have to live in the property at any time.
Lived in: for dower rights purposes, unless you have a legal opinion to the contrary, if either party slept in the property even for one night, then consider this condition met for dower act purposes.
