Talina obtained her Juris Doctor from the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law in Kamloops, BC, where she graduated on the Dean’s List in 2017. Talina assists on an array of litigation files at Kahane Law including small claims, residential tenancy, personal injury, family, criminal and debt collection matters. She also provides services for residential real estate and small business matters.
During her time at TRU Law, Talina worked as a Teaching Assistant, and as an Editor for the school’s Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law. Throughout her studies, Talina was an active volunteer for the Youth Justice Program, Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter, Central Alberta Crime Prevention Centre, BC SPCA and TRU Law’s Legal Information Service.
Talina’s interest in the law began over 10 years ago while working at a litigation law firm in her hometown of Red Deer, Alberta. It was this experience that led her to work as a Legal Services Officer for Legal Aid Alberta and ultimately pursue a career in law. As she embarks on her career, Talina remains committed to providing her clients with straightforward, practical legal services that render meaningful solutions.
