Harpreet Aulakh
Harpreet specializes in family law while also providing skilled legal guidance across various practice areas. She is committed to offering compassionate, strategic advice and representation to her clients. Before joining Kahane Law Office in 2025, she completed her articles at a leading labour and employment law firm in Edmonton, where she gained invaluable experience advising on workplace issues spanning construction, manufacturing, and the public sector.
A proud Edmonton native, Harpreet earned her law degree from the University of Alberta. While excelling academically, she was deeply engaged in extracurricular activities, serving on the executive committees of Law Students for Human Rights and the Mental Health and Wellness Committee. She also dedicated her time to Student Legal Services, advocating for access to justice. Today, she continues to give back as a volunteer lawyer at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.
Before pursuing law, Harpreet earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge, graduating with Great Distinction. Her diverse professional background includes experience in financial services, the oil and gas industry, and the construction sector, providing her with a well-rounded perspective that enhances her legal practice.
Outside of work, Harpreet enjoys hot yoga, discovering Edmonton’s vibrant café and bakery scene, and spending quality time with friends, family, and her beloved dog Anubis.
